WHO IS BLACK SHEEP VISION?
Black Sheep Vision is the nickname for Amela Kllapi, an Albanian photographer who’s been active since 2016.
The Story:
At a very young age I felt a strong connection to photography and forms of visual art. Starting from the basic film camera we used to take family photos, to more digital cameras as years went by.
The genesis was in 2013, when I decided to pursue photography, followed by 2016, when the nickname and the social presence had their start.
The connection grew stronger while learning about relatives and ancestors connected to visual art: actors, directors and photographers, such as Mihal Çarka, film consultant and founder of the photographic laboratory in Kinostudio in the 1950s.
In 2022, the pursuit was more serious: a graphic design course, followed by a four month photography training provided by well-known Albanian photographer Renuar Locaj.
My photography style is very versatile, and the focus is on details and emotions, aiming to transmit that to everyone who decides to take a look at my work, or collaborate with me.
